Call For Papers

The Ohio State University Department of Philosophy requests paper submissions for a graduate student conference to be held May 2-3, 2008, in Columbus, Ohio.

TOPIC: Ethics

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: December 1, 2007

(Notification of acceptance: February 1, 2008)

Papers on any topic in ethics will be considered. Preference will be given to papers focused on contemporary literature and ethical work in the analytic tradition.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

Papers should be no more than 15 pages (not counting the cover sheet) in length and should be prepared for blind review.

The first page should be a cover sheet providing the following information:
  1. the title of the paper
  2. author's name
  3. university affiliation
  4. author's contact information including a reliable e-mail address
  5. paper abstract of about 150 words

The second page should have no author-identifying information, but should have both the title of the paper and the abstract (repeated).

All subsequent pages should be free of author-identifying information. If authors have their own work on their bibliographies and refer to that work at any point in the paper, authors should delete their name from the bibliography and replace it with .***.. Please use the same symbols when referencing such works within the body of the paper.
